works for me, just one picture though

Yep, I see it now. Looks very cool, I like it!

I don't know what to tell you for hosting images on dropbox... I think there are some people who do it but I prefer to use imgur for my image hosting. The base account is free and holds up to 255 images. Since I post way more images than that I have the upgraded account, which has no limit. The upgrade costs $24 a year, last I checked.

I am still trying to Figure out how to display Dropbox Images in the forum, if someone could tell me that would be nice.

Just wrap the link with BB code for images; That is write "[*IMG*]" before the image's link, and "[*/IMG*]" after it, but without the quotes, and without the * symbols, which I had to add in order to make the text not be recognized as BB code script.

[EDIT]

Also, I don't want to be rude, but...

There is a freaking "Insert Image" button on the top toolbar when you are writing a post, even if you are on the compact, "quick reply" mode, instead of the "advanced" mode. How the hell did you miss that?

I could understand it if you were trying to do something that's not in the toolbar, which would be a "hidden feature" for the KSP forums, as they require direct BB code knowledge, like striked text...But images are as easy as clicking the image tool and pasting the link!

He was using the %7Boption%7D tags before but it didn't work. I even tried it in my own reply but For some reason Dropbox images don't work with the tags.

Huh...You guys are putting the images into dropbox's PUBLIC folder, right? I mean...You can't be expecting the "private" links to work for explicit public-access, such as is required by any form of embedding, including BB code IMG tags...

You can link to dropbox's privates and allow people to see/download your stuff, but it only works directly, because it assumes that, since you, the account owner, is the only one that should know the link, then by sharing such link you have willingly allowed "an specific person" to view "that specific" private content...

Indirect (or explicitly public means of) access, for example through proxies or embedding, gets denied access to private links. The only IP allowed to have indirect access is the content's owner's, and that's why only you will see it...Try it out! Try to see your own embedded private images through a proxy (not your IP directly)...You won't be able to see your own stuff, basically seeing the same as others...Even though "you are you".

Now can we please Get back on topic?

You've made a post with 4 lines...And you have a link to the image when it's supposed to be displayed like a gallery...What exactly do you expect the topic to be? ... You do realize there isn't much else to talk about, right?

Or do you expect the KSP Fan Works section to be used just for compliments to boost your ego?

Sorry, but it can, should, and will be used for criticism, be it "good" (compliments) or "bad" (things that are perceived as wrong or improvable)...And that applies not only to the content itself, but also to the way it is presented.

As far as the image goes, I think it's a cool image! Well, after you click on it's link, and get transferred to a different site, just to see it...

But I'm making a point that, at least in my opinion, displaying a link instead of the image is not really appropriate for a forum section that's meant to be like an art gallery, not a collection of links to art. And since you were having technical difficulties displaying the image as so, I offered explanation and help.

I'm presenting a valid point and being constructive about it. Do you know what's not being constructive? Telling me to go back to the topic when, first, there is no specific topic defined, and second, I never drifted off from the one general topic guaranteed to all KSP Fan Works threads: Criticism of the content, including the way it's being presented.
