How do you scroll part information in the VAB/SPH?

When you right click on a part in the VAB or SPH, it shows you more information about that part. Some parts, especially with mods installed, have more information than can appear by default in that right-click section, and these show a scroll-bar for access to the rest of it. Is there any way to actually use this scrollbar?

(I can provide pictures if that is unclear.)

Huh. That doesn't seem to work for me - it might have something to do with the fact that my mouse is in fact a touchpad.

I hear you, I play on a laptop too and the functions requiring a scrollwheel are frustrating.

Hmm. Well, you could buy a USB mouse. I detest touchpads and keyboard nipples so that's what I did. Also bought a USB Numpad.

But anyway, AFAIK the scrollbar is just a marker showing where you are on the list relatively to the top. I can't even move it directly with the mouse on my desktop.

Have you tried PGUP and PGDN?

I have recently found that for me this wheel scrolling the list only works if the info window is in a "pinned" state - the one where it stays displayed even if you move the mouse away from the part icon. You toggle it by right-clicking the miniature a few times.
