add parameter to tweakables?

Hello So I'm looking for the ability to make any parameter I wish (in this case crash tolerance) A tweakable option via right click but I have no idea how I would add this kind of support. any help?

Making a parameter tweakable requires a special setup when programming it, so without a plugin you can't add parameters to tweakables.

I've added tweakables to the stock wheels via my Tweakable Wheels plugin, and you can check out the source code to see what you need to do.

Hmm adding tweakables is not as simple as editing configs I see... >.< Well What I'm trying to do is increase the crash tolerance of every part of a ship however I don't know how to easily do this other than copying each part iwth a custom config OR tweakables and I don't have the knowledge to do that...

What you can use to improve the crash tolerance of every part without messing with the configs directly is ModuleManager. It allows you to change config file settings without messing up the part configs themselves. Quite helpful for making simple rebalance mods.

Like what the above post said, you can use ModuleManager plugin, and write a simple config for it, so that it will scan all parts you installed, and you can make it modify the crash tolerance to something like, 2 times bigger than the original value.

ModuleManager changes the config in memory instead of on your hard drive, so all your part config files on the hard drive are not touched. Also, it provides wildcards so that you can easily change one and affect all.
