Something strange happening with my chrome.

Some program you installed recently probably sneaked in some kind of plugin. Go to chrome settings and try disabling all plugins, see if the problem goes away. If it does, start enabling plugins one by one until the problem returns, and then delete the last one you enabled.

Got it.

I deleted everything but Adblock (Which works, have had it for a while with no issues until recently) and Norton Security Toolbar (Similar situation).

Deleted the reported program that caused the problem, and uninstalled every extension I wasn't using.

Issue seems to have disappeared.

Woo, that scared me, can't afford to get a new computer.

Getting a new computer to fix software problems is about the worst way of solving a problem. It is not far from buying a new car when you are out of gas.

Given. Better answer would've been "I don't have the time or the money to fix these issues right now".

Yes I know free software exists to fix these kinds of issues, but quite a few things are eating my time right now, so I can't afford to waste the time to download and have it fix it.

Fair enough. Be sure to scan and check out your PC though, the fact that something like that managed to get a foothold means it might be somewhat vulnerable to more serious things too. Not what you would want if you do not have the time or money to fix it.

Well the classic"nuclear option" is an OS reinstall. If you have suffered a malware infection it's the only really sure way to be clean again. It doesn't take too long, though installing software afterwards can. But then you might take it as a chance to NOT install the stuff you haven't actually used in a while.
