Pushback systems?

What have people come up with for pushback systems/vehicles? So far the best one I have tried uses a KAS winch, but I'm sure there are better designs out there. If you've made one, please share

KAS parts seem natural here, since I want to be able to attach to planes without having parts hanging off the front of the plane all the time.

No need for KAS here. An upwards-facing Klaw would dock if you let the plane fall on it by retracting the front gear (or lift it with landing legs, then drop it), it would fit any SSTO, and require no extra hardware on them. With the pivot unlocked, you should have enough freedom of movement to push around the plane, IMO.

Great idea. Unfortunately my plane is too short to fit under a stock klaw. However, I made a probe-sized one using TweakScale and it works nicely.
