*pokes head into locomotive*

Hey, Gregrox! Perhaps a bit of dragonfire in the firebox will get us going faster?

it's good that we're in metaspace right now; there's no wind. Didn't want to damage the Hypecoal in the tender, so I'm standing on top of the locomotive itself.

Just a question what happens if the train runs out of hype and crashes?

The hype spreads around into a cloud of gas. That cloud of gas then collects and is supercompressed by gravity, like the gases of a star, and when there is enough hype and enough compression, a new HypeTrain is made.

which happens in about .6 milliseconds.

What happens when the hype train runs out of fuel?

This is impossible, the 1000000 octane Hype Fuel is held in a 10000 kilolitre tank, so it will be very hard to run out. Hype Fuel is also generated by the passengers and collected using special "hype receivers" mounted unobstructively in the ceiling and walls of each car. Tests and studies have shown that there is an exponential relationship between the speed of the train and the amount of hype generated by the passengers. For example, at 10 MPH, the passengers will generate 35 litres per second of Hype Fuel, but at 20 they'll generate 120 LPS of Hype Fuel.
