trying to find a mod to change attachment points while in the editor

So I just downloaded the new version of B9 yay, and was trying to attach those radial tanks to the HL body system, they attach radially, but they also have axial connections. however the axial connections are being overridden by the radial ones, and I was trying to figure out how to attach something both radially and axially (both for looks, I hate having gaps, and for strength, more connection points = better) I have been having this issue with the stock game as well, so it isn't really something for the B9 thread.

I use it to attach the docking port axially.
