Why won't it let me add more than one Kerbal to my ship?

I have a Cupola Module with a Science Jr lab and Mobile Processing Lab. I'm using the stock KSP 0.24.2. This is a pretty enormous rocket and can get me to about half of the planets.

Right before launch, I go in and select 2 Kerbals, as one is already selected. But then at the launch screen, it only shows up one Kerbal.

What am I doing wrong? The Cupola supports more than one Kerbal...

Are they in the Mobile Processing Lab? There's no IVA for the MPL, so you won't see crew portraits in stock KSP. Click on the hatch to see a list of crew in the MPL.

Even if you're not on a Mac, there are instructions for adding an IVA to the MPL in the link in my signature.

The Cupola has a crew capacity of one, any other kerbals will have to ride in the Mobile Processing Lab. As Master Tao mentions, you won't see their portraits but they'll still be there if you add crew to it in the VAB.
