Prometheus Mk. II (with munar lander) and Prometheus Mk. IIb (multi landing)

The Prometheus Mk. II is my first really successfull Rocket Design (made from parts out of the Nova Punch pack).

It is especially designed for munar landing missions.

Here are some pictures I took from my last munar misssion with the Prometheus Mk. II (Kerpollo XII)

To the mun and back!

After Liftoff...

seperation of the ascent stage

Boosting into a 100km orbit above Kerbin

Reached 100km orbit, waiting for the right window to boost to the mun

Accelerating to intercept the mun

Reverse thrusting to enter munar orbit

slowing down to target for the nice big crater

after entering 40km munar orbit ....course back to Kerbin ...full thrust

...and returned safely...
