Is there a mod for an EVA umbilical cord to attach you to the capsule?

Kerbal Attachment System (KAS) includes a winch and connector that can be used to tether Kerbals to a vessel.

Note that "true" rope-like behavior such as sagging due to gravity, collision detection and bending/coiling up when not in tension is not possible in KAS or KSP - such a rope would require a very large number of infinitesimal collider segments, which would all needed to be generated procedurally as the rope is lengthened/shortened and in any case cause extreme physics lag.

Eh, I'm not fussy about whether it acts like a rope. Provided It attaches my kerbals, It works.
