"what if you were to change kerbin atmospheric pressure?"

1) what do you think would happen if you were to increase earth's atmospheric pressure?

2) what do you think would happen if you were to decrease earth's atmospheric pressure?

3) and discussing 1) and 2)

this is a video where i test this but something strange happens

Theoretically, air resistance at a given altitude increases (1) and decreases (2) and that's about it in KSP; change Kerbin's atmospheric pressure to Duna's and you'd have a terminal velocity on the surface of Kerbin equal to that of Duna (or something like that). Kerbals are apparently unaffected by the weight of an atmosphere.

Practically, that happens and you break physics and/or summon The Kraken, but that's probably because of the ridiculously high values you used :P

P is Petameters, equal to 10^15 meters.
