Is there a Greek in the house?

Go to an archaeology forum ya poozer!

Ok, valid point. Thought I'd ask this here- I mean it's SCIENCE right, and this is an international forum. I was wondering if anyone in the area of ancient Amphipolis ( Greece ) could fill me in on what's happening with the big excavation at the recently discovered tomb. I learned about it only today ( Thanks US media!) but hear it's a big story in the area.

I would like to hear some speculation on whom those interested think could be buried there. If the date they give for internment ( 325-320 BC ) is correct it's right in my wheelhouse, but I'm stumped as to whom would be interred ( granted I've only been on the case about an hour ). Someone from Cassanders' purges? Philip Arrhidaeus, the young Alexander IV perhaps, or Roxanne?

Could also use some help translating the only word I've seen in the tomb ΥΠΠΟΑ. Granted my ancient Greek is terrible but I can't think of what it could be, unless it's a name ?

Any info would be appreciated.

Cue the lonely cricket chirping.

Welp, i am Greek and considering the Amphipolis tomb there are many speculations as to who may be buried inside, if there is any, nobody still knows and the media here are on a frenzy of theories, the archeologists that make the dig release pictures from their work but no theories until they have something tangible. So far they have made it to the beginning of a third chamber and they have a visual of a fourth wall that may lead to another chamber, they won't know until they clear out the room from the dirt and make it structurally safe.
