Almost like the real thing at KSC

Very nice capture of the launch and landing of SpaceX´s Grasshopper. The film was shot from a hexacopter, hovering almost directly above the launch pad. Awesome material. Enjoy.

I did a summer program (Mission Discovery) a few months ago where they showed us that video. For the first half I was thinking "okay, a rocket launch viewed from above, cool enough!" Then when it stopped ascending and started dropping, I kind of tilted my head to one side like "what is it doing??" and when it dropped towards the pad again and started burning its engine harder, I was just like "No actual way...!"

Being able to land vertically right back on the launchpad again is a pretty good trick- better than I can do in KSP, at any rate.
