Hermes Mk. IV (light orbital lifter)

Today im showing you my first design of a light orbital lifter. The Hermes Mk. IV is designed for orbital satellite deployment.

I made a screenshot series of a short satellite deployment mission (circular orbit 170km above Kerbin)

After Liftoff

Entering low orbit (70km)

Seperation of the ascent stage

Boosting into higher orbit

seperation of payload fairings

...

seperation of payload stage....moving into final position for deployment

satellite deployed

back to Kerbin

By the way 170km was just a short demonstration , higher orbits are no problem....

this thing even might get to the mun but I have not tried that yet, it might be a never come back mission
