Visual C++ Error

Recommended Posts

Hi,

First post so I hope I am in the right area of the forum.

I am hoping someone can help here. Recently KSP has stated crashing out on start-up with a Visual C++ error. "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I have tried re-installing C++ but it doesn't make any difference.

I have the following C++ versions:

2005 x86

2005 x64

2008 x86

2008 x64

2010 x86

2010 x64

2012 x86

2012 x64

It has been working perfectly until recently. No, I haven't added any mods to make it do this it seems to have just happened.

Thanks in advance

Matt

Installing different versions of Visual C++ won't do a thing -- KSP is a standalone compiled program, and it doesn't rely on any others, except on Mac OSX where it needs to be run on top of Mono.

It'll almost certainly be something to do with one of your mods, unless a system assembly has been damaged somehow, which is incredibly unlikely. We're going to need log files. Please see the stickied thread.
