I'll have to give another +1 for everything Ghost in the Shell. Heck, I even played the game on my PSP

I cannot recommend Aldnoah.Zero highly enough, season 2 is currently airing. the episode 1 end works as the series trailer as well:

Ghost in the shell is amazing.

Code Geass is the only anime I own on DVD, very worth the watch.

Eureka7 was awesome.

Psycho-pass is dark, but I like that.
