Does NVIDIA company produce graphic card or just design it?

My computer have MSI NVIDIA GT 630.

My previous card was Gigabyte GT 440 i get it as replacement for my Galxy Geforce 9800 which was fried:(

I just wonder does my first GPU GF 9800 was better than my current?

And does NVIDA produce GPU on their own?

I believe they do make a line of reference cards. I confirmed that with a quick Google search. A quick Google search also gave me the answer to your other question - it looks like there are benefits and drawbacks to each card, but in the end the 9800 is the better card.

It's my understanding that NVidia manufactures the actual GPUs and circuitry, but leaves it to other manufacturers to build the rest of it.

nVidia produces GPUs and provides a reference design, but the actual manufacturers make the PCBs, and usually sell both the reference design and their own, which sometimes use custom PCBs. Sames goes fro AMD if I'm not mistaken.

nVidia have no chip fab of their own, they farm the actual chip manufacturing out to TSMC. They design the chips and reference cards/cooling but do no manufacturing of their own.
