KAS Alternative - EVA Fuel Lines?

I'm looking for a mod that simply allows Kerbals to EVA and connect fuel lines, but in a mod that has an open license allowing redistribution. Is there an alternative to KAS?

I believe RoverDude (Of Karbonite, etc) had plans to start working on an open license KAS alternative, but I think that's still in early stages, if he's not busy with other things. Other than that, I don't know of anything else that provides that functionality. In a pinch, you could try using the claw to grapple onto crafts that lack docking ports, you can transfer fuel that way as well.

Edit: I've just spent the last 10 minutes hilariously ramming my new fuel trucks into my sensitive SSTOs. At least they are all refueled now. Thanks for the suggestion! This will have to do until we get a KAS alternative.
