Game Black screen

So i was messing around and built a rover that i tested out before i went higher

so it was driving fine and all, but a tire broke and i extended the ladder u see in the pic and sent my kerbal out, as soon as i started to climb the ladder down, this happened:

i couldn't drive, go out etc., but i could go to the assembly building, but as soon as i went to fly again, same thing, just black everywhere, like the textures crashed or something, restarted KSP, same thing if i do what i did before (reinstalled KSP and used the save i had of this vehicle, same thing)

I saw this one once. It destroyed the craft I tried to switch to... well destroyed or just deleted it (which was on it's way to Duna). It was gone. I had to reload from a backup and never saw the issue again. Afraid I can't help you fix it though, I restarted the client and it went away, except for the missing ship.

Yeah, it happens sometimes. I don't think the exact cause has been figured out yet. It seems to involve a kerbal going EVA and touching/falling onto the ground.

Restoring a quicksave is pretty much the only way to restore the lost ship.

Yup, happened on Minmus very recently. Kerbal fell to the ground (lightly) and I got a black screen instantly. My altimeter read all zeroes though. Map screen was blank too. I had to Alt-F4.
