Any mods that add lights to cockpits and any other windows?

I like to light up my ships, and was thinking how cool it would be if there was some kind of mod that added lighting to cockpit windows and any other windows. Do any such exist?

Without knowing how to do it myself, you could download the ALCOR pod, which has lights in its windows. Then you could try looking in the configs or the model-files for clues on how to implement that in the stock pods. I would love that too!

plenty mods that have lit pod windows. but for stock pods, short of reworking and recompiling the original MUs, you can't do it. configs can only use what's in the model, window lights aren't built into the stock pods.

They might be soon though. The integration of Spaceplane Plus has a lot of implications. Moving cargo bays, Cockpit (and crew cabin) Lights, raster prop monitor? Ok probably not the last one but the first two are quite reasonable. I would expect the Mk1 and Mk3 refits to include such a feature. Mk3 of course turns out isn't coming in 0.25, but Mk1 may just have what you want.

At the very least I would wait for 0.25 before really seeking out such a change from a mod.
