starting to plugin devolopment and my head is a mess.

hello, i would like to know, how do you make a part modify the player's science, reputation and cash on meeting certian requirements?

i'm a experienced java devoloper (android apps ) and i find the API quite hard to understand and the tutorials quite hard to follow.

basically, i am asking a "for dummies approach" to :

using as base ( later i'll make my own) the commutron 16 model, texture and .cfg, add a action menu with a button, that, when toggled, and by meeting certain conditions, generates a certain amount of science, reputation and cash, depending on those conditions, and i want that part to , when activated (that means that there must be an "activate" button, hence the commutron 16 as base, because it already has the "extend" one, but maybe it's easyer to start from scratch ) uses a certain amount of energy depending , again, on certain conditions.

i kinda want to know how the .CFG interacts with the .dll plugin code, and how to make the .DLL do the things i want it to do.
