History of the KSP- Chapter 0

[The Destroyer]

Hello and welcome, to my first writing, the history of the KSP. We go from the early times, to the days of early warp. Let us begin.

This is designed to be KSP difficulty: Advanced. Not hardcore, not normal.

I'll be writing up a bit of kerbin history. Once 0.25 comes out and I get going, it won't be scripted, but their will be events, charaters, and perhaps death... I haven't use life support in awhile, much less with funds!

Chapter 0- Bang.

Scene: Gene Kerman, along with other kebal members, in a class of 50 kerbals at the space center school.

"Hello." Gene said.

"Today we go on a journey back in time- back when the kerbals were formed, when we first touched the Mun, and when we left this pale blue dot. Join me, on a journey."

The class snorts. "Another history lesson? Come on!" a kerbal said.

"This will not be like any other history class... it will be filled with drama, hopes, and dreams."

Let us begin.

Year 0- Kerbin is a strange planet. It hasn't gotten much intelligant life on it, but it does have a suitable biome. How did the kerbals start?

Across Kerbin, there is fragments of strange pieces, it appeared to come from some sort of ancient probe, with some sort of round gold-colored "disc" on it. We believe the object carried bacteria on it, somehow survivng in space. When it finally met it's destination, Kerbin, the bacteria, quite advanced, was released across Kerbin. This is, what we believe, the starter of the kerbal civilization.

Year 100- early kerbals began to form, and by year 200 they were scattered across Kerbin. By year 300, kerbin was beggining to get quite populated. Year 421, month 6, day 5, was the start of something terrible, yet wonderful.

An ancestor of Von kerman, was born in Kermandy. Kerbin, at the time, wasn't interested in space. Until he, let's call him "Van", launched a rocket into space. Kermandy, and Van, were the first Kerbals to launch a Kerbal-made object into space.

Then it began.

The Kerbal Union, wanted the Van desperatley. Van, since he was originally only accepted by Kermandy, he refused, For 10 years, nothing happened, politically anyway. When Van put the first kerbal into LKO, the Union invaded Kermandy.

Van fled to the Blue "feds", the only other superpower. As the union expanded their empire, and Van doing more incredible things, the Feds were forced to expand aswell. Eventually, the entire planet was only covered by two superpowers. When Van took pictures of the dark side of the Mun, war broke out- raging for a decade.

Then, the nuclear bomb was discovered.

The feds launched it at Koscow, shattering the Union. The union fought back hard, and soon, they stopped all military production, It looked like the Feds were winning, until the Union launched a large nuke stockpile.

Kerbin went into a nuclear winter.

Some Kerbals managed to escape. To here, and perhaps other locations, but might not've made it. Our ancestors hid in the bunkers of the old KSC, waiting. Some survived, some did not. This is why we wear spacesuits, even on Kerbin- the radiation is still too high.

As the kerbals came out of the shadows, they knew they had to do the impossible.

Rebuild kerbin.
