KSP Random mid game crashes

Recommended Posts

First off, my system specs. I'm running 8gb ram, intel i7 cpu.

Okay, so here are the mods I'm running.

Kethane

b9 aerospace

Kw rocketry

Mech Jeb

Kerbal Alarm Clock

Interstellar

chatterer

Environmental visual enhancements

KAS

I also have Active Texture management installed.

These crashes are sporadic, and actually didn't start popping up until JUST recently. To give you an idea of where I'm at in the game, I'm playing on science mode (previously the old career mode) I've been to both kerbin moons, i've landed on duna (but not ike yet) And i've orbited eve. I've got about a quarter-third (my best estimation) of the way through the tech tree, and i've been experimenting with space planes.

These crashes first started happening while I was testing these space planes, I'm typically able to build perfectly fine, it's when I get to the launchpad that my game crashes (before even loading) I switched over to rockets to try and obtain more science and try a landing at eve, but upon building my rocket and launching it I crashed again. This was basically the last straw for me, and that is what has brought me here lol. Anyway, here are the crash report files from the last 3 crashes i've experienced. These have all been within the last day or so, from most recent to last.

I'm pretty happy with my mod setup, so i'd rather not have to uninstall anything, but like I said I havent had any problems until just recently, and i've played a little bit of creative just to see what's in store for me when I get my science up high enough. But any tips or answers would be supremely appreciated, and I'm also happy to answer any questions! :D

I experienced this a bit. Try out this suggestion from the How to get support sticky thread.

From the support topic. On Windows? Use 32bit. Are you using KSP Windows x64? If so, expect problems. KSP Windows x64 is a work in progress that has been shown to be unstable for the majority of modded installs and crashes easily. This is not due to problems in the mods themselves but in the Unity player and KSP assemblies. In particular, if you have a large number of plugins or parts (i.e. high memory usage for textures and on the stack) KSP Win x64 is incredibly unstable.
