Fantastic! I find it sad the lack of enthusiasm and interest people have in new technology and development. Have we become too desensitised to it, knowing that just about everything is possible and could happen, so new advances are just met with 'meh'?

Everything has its basic humble beginings, we are seeing the first step into a StarTrek Holodecks , now that is something to look forward too!

Wouldn't care whether or not I used the game element.

This has a lot of potential uses. You could turn the wall of your house into a control panel for whatever you want.

Personally I think the best thing about it would be screen savers. The ability to change your wallpaper without actually having to change your wallpaper.

The tech does seem kind of trivial with augmented reality so close to becoming a reality. Who needs all those projectors? Just put on some goggles after the room has been mapped, and let it populate the room with monsters.
