cargo bay question

hi, im spikey, ive been around for a while (but i doubt you recognize me because im not particularly social on the forums anymore)

i have a question (not sure if this is the right place to ask)

is squad planning on adding cargo bays with controllable doors on the large and extra large size rocket parts in the future, now that we have them on spaceplanes? ive been wishing for the ablity to have a russian nesting doll of 1.25m, 2.5m and 3.5m rockets within each other

There will be more (and larger) space plane parts in 0.26

Hugo the intern re-made the MK3 parts, which were unofficially slated for .25 but have been pushed to .26, and they're rumoured to have a "large" cargo bay. I say "large" because MK3 is its own size so while I think you can fit 2.5M parts in it, it's not a traditional size, and so I don't think MK2 cargo bays will fit in it due to their different shapes.

I really want cargo trunks for regular rockets. They don't even need any sort of opening doors, I just want hollow cylinders to put stuff in, instead of sticking batteries and mystery goo to the side.

SXT has a 2.5 meter cargo bay that fits great into rockets, despite being called "Large Aircraft Cargo Bay". It still works in .25, but the texture is missing

As far as I know there is no confirmation of bigger cargo bays yet

I am currently using b9 for that. It has a nice selection of cargo bays and 2 that can hold 2.5 m parts + some attachements. You can delete the other parts to reduce the clutter
