How do you use the patcher with steam?

Hello fellow kerbonauts,

When I installed Kerbal Space Program 0.25 for steam, I got numerous bugs like the terrain disappeared, the terrain turned into water, the vab walls and floor was missing, the SPH and VAB parts selection background was messed up, the whole window closed, ect. Anyway, I was wondering how to use the KSP patcher with steam because it is getting so annoying. Thanks.

You right click and then click "verify integrity" or some such.

If you have KSP through Steam, you DO NOT use the patcher. The patcher is for the Squad Store version. On Steam, you can set KSP to auto-update and it will just happen whenever a KSP update or hotfix comes out. If you don't set it to auto-update, Steam will tell you an update is available you'll have to start it manually.

Still doesn't work, i still get the wierd SPH screen

I fixed it. i just had to delete the demo and previous versions before running.
