Some more stock craft options

I don't know how other people play, but I tend to have multiple saves going, but I like to be able to transfer ships and subassemblies across them. So, for that reason, I am proposing that there be stock Subassemblies as well as ways of saving ships directly to the stock ship folder. Notably, this would also provide backups of ships/subassemblies in case you royally screw up in the VAB or SPH. So, who would like this?

You can manually copy your ship designs to the ships folder to make them stock, but it would be nice to have this option in game.

I don't think it's a good idea to have such feature in the stock game. You can have parts in your ship that are not unlocked yet in another savegame. There could be a mess with ship names (like, same names in two different locations for two different designs). You can accidentally overwrite a stock ship. So many opportunities to shoot yourself in the foot.

It can be a good idea for a plugin, though. You could try to ask someone in the appropriate forum.

What I'd like to see is the ability to select different folders for ships.
