Fixing sub assemblies into fuselage decouplers

I do have some subassemblies that i want to attach radially to already attached (main craft) decouplers. How do i do it?

Do you mean that the decouplers are already on the subassembly?

If the decouplers are on the craft where you want to attach the subassembly, then that would be easy.

If the decouplers are on the subassembly instead, yeah. I also don't know how.

They are on the craft where I want to attach the subassembly. The subassembly appears to accept node-only attachment.

The root part of the subassembly must be the part attached to the radial decoupler.

If you are playing stock, you must reconstruct the subassembly starting with the part you eventually want attached to the decoupler.

If you use mods, install SelectRoot. Attach a girder to your subassembly where you want the decoupler to attach, reroot from the girder, detach the subassembly and save it as a new subassembly. Use the new subassembly to attach to the radial decoupler.
