Unlimited Funding, Science and Reputation.

Hey,

So there is this mission which always comes back after refusing some other contracts, "Transmit or Recover scientific data from space around kerbin".

It yields a lot of funds and reputation (and science with adm building).

The problem is, you can send a ship, send a crew report from space, switch to space center, refuse a few contracts until the same mission reappears, accept the mission, switch back to the ship, send the report again etc... Unlimited funds science and reputation.

I think this mission shouldn't "respawn".

Well, real life space agencies do get an unlimited steady stream of funding, reputation, and science from transmitting data back to earth...

This is a similar issue as the recurring "plant a flag on X" missions.

How to probably fix it?

Limit flags to one per biome - remember which ones already have been planted (you can tear down flags you know...). Of course, adjust the value of this contract accordingly.

Regarding the "transmit science" stuff: make it scale with the actual science points transmitted. So you cannot exploit an exhausted science experiment. Also, make this type of contract experiment-specific. One company might wanna get data from the blob, another might wanna know how hot/cold it's up there, and so on.

This also could be biome-specific, so after a while, you would get a mission to visit all available biomes with all kinds of different scientific equipment. Also take into account which experiments already have been finished outside of missions, so you only get valid missions.
