well, i managed to get 0,7km away from an asteroid but i just can't catch him, can someone help me?

Define "cant catch him." at the closest point there ( 0.7km as you said ) the relative speed shouldn't be too bad... Is that whats happening? Your craft doesn't have the Dv to kill the relative speed and rendezvous? Because thats all it comes down too.. What is the relative speed of the asteroid at that closest point as oppose to your craft and how much Dv do you have to match it? Also.. its hard to tell, but you are orbiting the same clockwise direction of that asteroid, yes?

Congrats.. honestly? Ive NEVER... ever.. even once traveled to an asteroid. Im good at rendezvous, but I just never had the interest in capturing an asteroid. Its on one of many things on my list.

If you want to grab a big rock, I suggest grabbing it in outer space. The further away you are from Kerbin, the Lys fuel it'll cost, and you're going to need allot to bring home a big one
