KSP Interstellar - Can't get nuclear reactors to work? Can't power warp drive.

Hey guys, I've watched a few videos on how to power warp drives and I've built a generator on top of a fusion reactor and neither of them seem to do anything. Any help would be appreciated helping me figure out how to start producing power, thanks!
