Batteries not discharging

Ok I am at a loss as to what is going on but when ever I take a manned craft out into orbit when I get to the dark side of the planet the batteries stay full, no cheats active either and solar panels are showing as being blocked by the respective body I am in orbit around. The only two mods that are not up to date are ambient light mod and firespitter, bot I doubt have any contection to the issue.

Crew-capable capsules don't have electrical draw, so you'll only drain power when using the reaction wheels or the MPL functions.

GOH, forgot I am not running TAC this time around , I got to use to there being a draw when it was dark. Thanks!
