The launch vehicle would need extra sensors, instrumentation, and thrust termination systems. Which would require new wiring and new avionics. Those are heavy mods. It would also require lots of studies and paperwork to ensure that all failure modes throughout the flight profile are safe for abort.

You also need upgrades to the launch infrastructure, training for all the personnel involved, communication channels and presence of recovery forces in the abort zones. None of this is trivial or cheap.

Precisely to which one do you refer to that isn't already onboard? Ariane 5 is riddled with sensors and instrumentation, you have no idea. Basically everything that you might possibly need + few additional things (such as a recently added network of cameras) are already onboard.

Everything else will be included in the upper composite - which I already mentioned. Obviously it'll have to be a completely new component, even solely for an abort system.

None of this is trivial or cheap.

Noone in the entire topic said that anything what we discuss would be trivial or cheap.

Too small to be relevant to crewed flight, and flight rate much to low to be 'typical' of anything. You also could have said PSLV, Taurus, or Pegasus, but the same applies to them. I meant to say launchers of comsats, as he'd actually said in his post.
