R&D Node Cannot Upgrade

Hey everyone, brand new to the game.

In career mode, I was able to unlock basic rocketry. I now have 53.4 science but there the blue button to unlock any of the next three nodes is nowhere to be found. I have completed most of the contracts available to me without unlocking the next nodes. I was even able to complete the Rockomax BACC solid fuel booster test flight without unlocking it from the node. Am I totally missing something?

Hopefully my jargon isn't too terrible, I'm having fun figuring it all out! Thanks in advance.

Try going out of the R&D building and back in again. If you are using KSP Interstellar (Or anything that uses TreeLoader) it is a bug that has developed. Also, if you have unchecked "No R&D Costs" (Or something similar) you are required to purchase the parts from the R&D or the VAB/SPH.

If that doesn't help, please provide a screenshot of the R&D screen, so we can see what exactl you mean

Thanks for the responses. I tried leaving R&D, going back in, but that didn't work. Quit the game and shut down the computer. Restarted, everything is back to normal now. If it doesn't it again I will screen shot and post.

I'm seeing a lot more of that in .25 than previously.
