There is a few things I don't like about a rescaled system:

Time to orbit would be considerably more. I often don't have much time except to quickly launch something which only takes 5 mins or so in KSP. Increasing the scale would double that time.

Time to get anywhere else would increase. This could be compensated for with higher timewarp values but this brings about greater inaccuracy in the calculations. Its bad enough as it is already.

SSTOs wouldn't work anymore. I know that would be a victory for half of you but I personally enjoy making SSTOs.

Rendezvous will be much more difficult. It took weeks to learn as it is and around Jool or Eve I still struggle. New players will simply be put of from doing it.
