Small question about flags

Hey guys,

I want to do some kind of campaign where 2 different countries are doing a rocket race (like US and USSR), so I launched the first manned craft of country 1 (the flags are fictional so I can't really describe them), now I want to launch the first manned craft of country 2, but if I change the flag, will it also change the flag for the existing craft of country 1? It is not a very technical question, but I hope someone can answer it.

IF you change the flag FOR THAT FLIGHT it will NOT CHANGE THE FLAG FOR THE SAVE. To change the flag on a per flight basis, when in the VAB or SPH click the flag next to the Craft Name text box and select your flag.

If you select the flag for the ship you are going to fly (In the VAB SPH) then that flag will be there only for that mission and will not change any already existing flags. So you will just have to change the flag for each mission you want to do the other space agency.

No, once planted, it can't be changed, you can take it down though.

Actually you can also change the flag through your save file "persistent"

I'll explain how if you want.

So basically the answer is no, planted flag won't change
