Anyone else uninterested in .25?

I was uninterested in 0.25 before it was released. Seems like there was a lot of hype around it. Now that I have been playing it, I find that I really like the new features.

The admin. strategies is a nice change. I like the new spaceplane parts. I also like the re-sized SAS and modified cupola.

I find 0.25 for the most part superflous because it adds complexity in areas that are not necessary for KSP. KSP is about creativity and slapping together stuff that might or might not fly. So basically the funds, rep and science is ok but the new selectable strategies and the whole idea of the admin building is completely superflous as well as destructable and upgradable buildings. Thats a lot of effort going into the game that adds just about nothing. Instead of creating resources for that they should have made parts for space stations, resource stuff or whatever, that would have been a meaningful extension to KSP. And SP+ parts? Yawn. Really a ready made set of parts that is not versatile since the most important adapter (Mk2-Rockomax) is missing isn't really what KSP needed either. Even worse, a lot of the construction material that allowed to build all kinds of fancy stuff such as the panels and I-beams were removed. To me KSP was best at version 0.24.2, 0.25 and 0.90 (upgradable buildings, experience for Kerbals) etc. is adding too much complexity in the totally wrong direction.

IMHO there was little point in adding SP+ parts. I installed SP+ on my 0.24 save and it's no different.

Well, as someone who plays without part mods, I really liked the new SP+ parts, but that's just my opinion.

Same here. I despise them. [PART MODS, not the SP+ parts :blush:](Although they do offer nice distractions from Stock once it gets old)

I was interested in .25. Not "OMGMUSTPLAYNOWHYPEHYPEHYPE", but I planned on giving career mode a go after I'd done my current missions (still in .23.5, they've been taking a while!).

Then .90 was announced as adding the final major element to career, upgrading the KSC. My interest in playing .25's almost-but-not-quite career mode vanished.

Haven't updated yet. Don't care about strategies, buildings, explosions... Building rockets to explore planets is what I care about.

The other minor tweaks and additions make 0.25 quite an improvement over 0.24.2 though. And my 0.24.2 savegame loaded in perfectly (as far as I've tested). Even my spacestation is working, although I had to patch one mod for that.
