Hi all, the guys over at Uber entertainment are making a new game, called Human Resources. Over on Kickstarter, you can back them, but currently, they need lots of help. There needs to be more pledges otherwise it won't be funded. And that would suck. If you want to see the apocalypse happen-visit their Kickstarter page- Human Resources and help fund the apocalypse.

Thanks for wanting this game to happen.

They aren't even finished PA though.

They're having a seperate team work on Human Resources, PA is still going to continue to be developed, at the same pace, it's mentioned on the page, come on, fund the apocalypse!

Uber entertainment is a scam. They just called a alpha version of PA released and slowed development of it so much that the updates are useless. Now, they are starting another scam game which will have the same fate.

PA seems fine to me, or are you upset because mommy wouldn't let you borrow her credit card so you could buy it.

While I wouldn't call Uber a scam he does have a point. I was not particular impressed with what happened to PA. It succeeded in being a cool concept/premise but as far as the state of the launched version it has yet to become a good RTS game that was worth the money, at least for me. Just from that I will be waiting until I see the reviews before I throw money down for Human Resources.

I attribute this dissapointment to having a lot of the time and energy that went into alpha/beta development to build an engien from scratch and dealing with all the problems that multiple spherical maps have. Because of this less time was spent on things like UI, Unit Creation and balancing etc that are really importent for a good RTS. I am hoping that this new team can use the groundwork laid by the PA team (as IIRC they are working in the same engine) as a leg-up to make Human Resources really good. From experience UberEnt is great at coming up with really good ideas for games and not so great at actually delivering a good game from it.

There's a reason most large titles like PA aren't done using that method of development. Most people are mentally incapable of understanding that games take time and money to make, ksp as I recall wasn't a fun game in it's early days.

You dont understand what happened with PA. Its not that development takes time. The problem is, that the devs just declared finished a game that actually is just a alpha, and halved the price. So backers like me lost a lot of money, as the released product is the same thing that I bought for 2 times more money. Also, for uber, a "finished" and "released" game is just a excuse to slow down its development.

This never, ever happened with KSP and probably never will.

You know how many games are released as obvious alphas? The only reason why PA is different is because it was crowdfunded instead of getting it's money from a publisher.

I played PA it's playable and fun.

For a short time, is not worth the money and promised features are either not in or poorly made.
