MechJeb 2 autostage + NearFuturePropultion = Not working

I am building a lander (unmanned) to go to laythe. I have set mechjeb's maneuver planner to do an interplanetary transfer to jool so I can make a hofman transfer to laythe. I am using the NearFuturePropulsion's Gyro-Quad Hall Thruster. When I use autostage, It immediately skips the Gyro-Quad Hall thruster and goes to the next stage. HELP!
