Is it possible?

Purely theoretical in nature, but say someone had KSP. And their friend wanted it as well but PayPal refused to work for them.

Would it be possible for person A to give Person B their store account password and Person B could download it?

New topic since I forgot about the bad things involved. Anyone got the instant orbit part for .13? in a .zip?

My hypothetical suggestion would be to gift your friend a copy of the game by making an account with his email for him. Then he can just pay you back using whatever means he has available ;). I\'ve done this in the past to give my friends copies of the game when they were unable to use a credit card or access paypal systems. Please don\'t suggest methods of hypothetical piracy. Your friend can always play the demo in the meantime.

PS - Giving out your password is a bad idea.

That would technically be possible, but it wouldn\'t exactly be legal or moral, and such a hypothetical person certainly shouldn\'t openly admit to having done that on the forums.

A much better solution would be for person A to register a new store account using person B\'s email address and purchase KSP using that account and their own PayPal, then hand that store account over to person B.

Edit: Dammit, ninja\'d.

I believe that\'s what is called \'piracy\'. Rule 1.1 apply here S:|

But the real question is -- may A create another store account, purchase another copy of KSP, and then give that account to B? Would this be considered \'obtaining KSP illegally\'?

Edit: ninja\'d twice.

[mod]Since the effect of this post (possibly not the intent) would be piracy, and since the community have proposed alternatives, we might let this topic sink.[/mod]
