stock texture/model repository for stockalike parts in case of changes

the idea is basically that in the event that someone downloads a mod that alters or changes the original stock textures/models, there would be a place where stockalike parts, that utilize these models/textures, would be able to work regardless of the changes. This could probably be done using module manager to patch those stockalike parts so that whatever location that was indicated in their configs would be changed into the new location within the folder or something along those lines because i am not exactly experienced in this sort of thing....
