My curiosity got the better of me 'bout a year ago, and there just ain't no going back..

Camera control is vastly superior in VAB/SPH

Great for fine controls during docking, as in actual control of craft, not just camera position.

If you have nothing else important to spend money on, why not? Depending on where you live, there are options to return it if you are not satisfied?

I'm using a 3d mouse in KSP. I is great for EVA, docking and flying planes.

But i must say that it isn't suitable if you buy it only for KSP. A spacemouse pro cost about 299€ + tax (USA 299$) or 180€ for students (USA 185$). So you should have another purpose for it too, CAD or modelling for example.

I second that. I am using a spacepilot pro by connexion, but its place is in my 3D modelling and texturing workflow. Using it for KSP is just a nice bonus, but it is definetely not worth the money, buying it for KSP only. It is a pro construction tool... If you want something fun and useful for KSP, go for a nice complex flight stick.
