Is the 10char limit built into VBulletin, or is it removable?

In the forum games, posts are usually short. Now, most places, this is no problem, you can even have 1 character posts. Not here. The stupid 10char limit makes it annoying when I can't just make a short response, but requires short posts to have 10chars on the end of them. Now, I can see why this exists, to prevent short message spam, but there's the 5 minute duplicate limit too, which basically solves it.

Basically, what I'm asking is if the 10char limit can be removed, or if it's built in.

Indeed. Any "X word stories" thread is doomed to have a lot of 10char hidden in them. It's completely unnecessary and makes it look ugly.

To answer your question: the 10 character limit cannot be disabled on a per-forum basis, and it exists for good reason on the rest of the of the forums (to encourage at least some degree of content in a post), so unfortunately there's not much I can do here.
