Any way to turn down graphics?

Hi umm.. Before the KSP 14.3 update (I went from 14.0 to 14.3) my KSP ran with minimal lag. Now though it lags a lot of the time and it is very noticeable and thats annoying in many ways.

So is there any way to turn down the graphics?

My PC specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.60GHz

4GB RAM (3.25GB usable)

32-bit OS

1GB ATI Radeon HD 4600 series graphics card

149GB internal memory

1.5TB external memory

I recommend playing around with the texture quality first, it solved the lag for me pretty much, although mine wasn\'t so bad in the first place.

It\'ll be because of the new terrain in 0.14.2.

Try this: delete your settings.cfg, firstly, then start the game again, then quit it, just in case something is wrong with it. Now, go inside the setting.cfg (open in notepad), and change 'PLANET_SCATTER = True' to 'PLANET_SCATTER = False'. This\'ll remove the trees and mun boulders, but it should give a framerate increase. Now, change PLANET_DETAIL_FACTOR to around 0.7 or so, and if it still lags, you can turn it down to a minimum of 0.5 before you get collision issues (please note, you might get some view problems like unloaded chunks at the edge of the camera).
