Can't unlock stages!

So yeah I know, I have to press alt+L to unlock the stages, but it's not working. I've had the game for a while, and I'm sure my rocket should work. The staging button in the bottom left corner is purple, so I know it's been locked, but I can't unlock it using the keyboard shortcuts. I run Windows 7 and my keyboard is a razer black widow. This is really frustrating, what can I do?

Any mods? Is your cursor over the staging list? Can you read this please?

No mods, but it worked to bring the cursor over the staging list as I did it. Thanks, and I'm dumb
