Sometimes there is a reason why the military uses some designs.. This thing takes off at a really low take of and landing speed, 110knots take off and 90 knots landing.

Great challenge, I have now started setting up my own testing range in my save for military craft.

Granted I have lowered the part count a bit more with some mods that let me do that. Procedural parts is wonderful.

I think I am also the only one to do it with an SSTO space plane.

I have finished this Challenge but i did not take picture and I "THOUGHT" I had OBS running and streaming to twitch. But I was not *frowns* and It was in preview mode and I missed the entire thing and since it was streaming I though I took no pictures.

Basically that is what I did, took the simple design of the A-10, and went with it. It works for a reason, right?

Not sure if I broke any rules or anything, but it was fun.

EDIT: Oh, and a lot of debris bugged out and was destroyed when I quickloaded, and I destroyed a lot more debris after landing than I showed.

EDIT: Oh, and a lot of debris bugged out and was destroyed when I quickloaded, and I destroyed a lot more debris after landing than I showed.

I will say that you won and completed the challenge. Honestly I had not thought about lasers though. I ll accept this only because I have not made it a rule yet but from now on NO LASERS

I also want to say I won't be adding the next challenge for a while because I have been having personal problems IRL ranging from grades to relationships and even possible depression. (Prayers, best wishes, and good thoughts from y'all are welcomed)

I will say that for the next challenge you will need to make a long range bomber.

I haven't started making the challenge yet though so just get it ready.

So I was messing around with this challenge. I made a thing that launched straight up and deployed a zillion parachutes and solar panels and shot lasers at the ground shortly before someone else made a plane with lasers and lasers were declared kind of lame (which they admittedly were. It was a dumb way to win.) So I did it again!

When I installed BDArmory, I also installed Bahamuto Dynamics parts pack because I got carried away. Now there's only one reason I installed the parts pack, and that is the adorable critter crawler. I had resolved to somehow beat this challenge using it and now I made an account for the forum finally to share what I call "Mostly Harmless" because KSP and Hitchhiker's Guide seem like they belong together.
