I am thinking of moving on to the next step and getting something better than the turtle beach X-12s. Im looking at the Logitech 930. Im looking for something under $150. I play alot of Gmod and KSP and a few other games. Im looking for something for the least amount of wires.

What do you have and what should i get?

How about no headset at all? A dedicated mic & good earphones are way cheaper than a headset of the same quality since headsets are build for gamers who have money but dont know much about sound. My Superluxx HD 681 Evo were less than 30€ and have better sound than most 100€ headsets. As a mic i use the Zalman Mic 1, it was only 8€ and offers good quality, you can attach it to the cable of the headphones or place it on top of your screen...

BTW: I would use cablebased headphones since wireless are way more expensive for the same sound quality.

I too prefer wired devices, batteries always seem to die at the most inconvenient times.. (also you will be less likely to misplace it if it's plugged in). I've been taking a look at some new headphones too, but I'm mostly looking at the low end (under 50$) so I don't really have any good recommendations. I'll keep an eye out though!
