0.25 Spaceplane parts not working

Recommended Posts

There seems to be an issue with the new 0.25 spaceplane parts. Some of the new parts have virtually equivalent parts from the old versions (Examples: the Delta Wing, the Mk2 Liquid Fuel Fuselage). When assembling the vehicle, the new parts look just fine. However, when I try to launch, the parts are replaced with their older equivalents.

I have a 32-bit Windows 7 system. I am not using the Steam version of KSP. Unfortunately I seem to not be able to post a screenshot.

Try this: Make a backup of your KSP/GameData folder. Then, go into your KSP/GameData/Squad/Parts folder. Search for .cfg files and delete all of them. Finally, use Steam to verify the integrity of the game files – it should redownload just the new .cfg files. If you have bandwidth to waste, you could delete the entire Squad/Parts folder instead of just the .cfg files.

Also, those pictures are on your computer, so we can't see them. You'll need to upload them to an image-sharing site like Imgur, Dropbox, or Google Picasa and then link to them using the %7Boption%7D tags you have.

Sorry, totally missed that "not."

Same solution, but use Patcher instead of Steam, or reinstall KSP and copy over your saves. The problem here is that you have both sets of parts installed – you could delete all the old parts by hand, but it's easier just to reinstall since they're scattered throughout Squad/Parts.
