HELP - Kolonization mod not working

Recommended Posts

I recently downloaded the Modular Kolonization mod by RoverDude and put it in my game data but the parts have not shown up. I was hoping anyone could shine some light on this.

I've re-entered it multiple times the same way I've put other mods(Karbonite, MechJeb, Kerbal attachment systems, etc.) in in this same method, demonstrated in the Scott Manley "Kerbal Space Program - How To Install Mods"

, and there's no error messages appearing as far as I can tell. Could you please give me a hand and shed some light on this? It be very appreciated. I've been trying for some time to download this really cool mod. :D

Ok, From the sound of it you didn't install it correctly. Always check the file structure inside the .zip, not everyone packages them the same way. You can't just unzip a mod into gamedata and expect it to work. In this case, the mod folders that go in gamedata are nested inside a couple folders. From the zip folder, you'll need to open the MKS-master folder and then copy the contents of the Gamedata folder from the zip into your KSP/Gamedata folder.

by the way, your colors will display correctly if you leave out the "!important."
