The EWOK RAPER project sought out to create a multi-purpose, fast-response vehicle designed solely for the recovery of astronauts whose ships are unable to return to Kearth on their own, due to damage, lack of fuel, or other unforseen circumstances. The current model, the mark III, has been proven effective in both munar and zero-gravity rescue situations, provided the rescuee\'s parachute module is intact.

the name is taken directly from the military callsign used on all top secret broadcasts. The callsign was intentionally misleading for security purposes. Due to its prevalent use, however, technicians have begun referring to it as simply CMRS.
